Antique white 1940’s bow front dresser

Antique Federal furniture is my absolute favorite style of furniture to refinish. A classic 1940’s mahogany bow front dresser with beautiful heppelwhite hardware. Classic soft antique white with a refinished dark wood top rich in color.

Shabby French Bombay Chest

SOLD- $225

oooh lala! This is an antique inspired french bombay chest with lots of curves and ornate detailing. I used milk paint in the color Linen. I distressed the details and I sealed it with clear wax and dark wax to give it a very aged old world look. She came out pretty as can be!

Late 1800’s antique empire dresser

SOLD- $295

Antique Late 1800’s empire dresser with reclaimed wood top. I removed all the veneer off the top of this dresser and i was left with a very rustic top, i absolutely loved how perfectly imperfect it looked so i threw some rich stain on top of it and viola! I then painted it in a custom barn red color to play with the rustic look of the top. It came out perfectly!

Vintage Bassett Desk Midnight Ocean Blue

SOLD- $350

Vintage Bassett Furniture executive desk. This piece was lots of fun to work on. It had such elaborate wood carvings and I absolutely loved the hardware. I chalk painted it in a dark custom blue color ( NO Distressing) and I totally refinished the top using a dark wood gel stain.

Antique victorian inspired tall boy- SOLD $695

I have been refinishing furniture for awhile now and have never come across anything so unique and whimsical. This dresser was chalk painted in ASCP Paris grey then waxed and sealed for protection. I Dry brushed all the wood carvings and detail with old white so they would pop followed by a light distressing. Im crazy over this one!

White and black mahogany bedroom set

SOLD – $650

Up for sale! A beautiful vintage mahogany bedroom set. The body’s were chalk painted in old white and the tops were painted in black. Distressed for a shabby chic look. Finished in a few coats of poly for long lasting protection. Dresser is by Dixie and night stands are by Thomasville. This set is gorgeous and very neutral. One night stand is in better shape than the other but it plays well for the shabby chic look.  I call this set a triple threat; Vintage, shabby and modern all at the same time!
